Okay. So I confess. Drinking lots of water isn’t always easy. Even if you carry a 2l bottle of water around with you all day everyday, it feels kind of boring. Particularly when you’re tee-total like me and don’t drink fizzy drinks or fruit juices either.
So what’s a girl to do? Booze up? Or sugar up?
While it’s tempting to drink anything but water, it’s actually way more satisfying to spice up your water with ingredients you already have in the fridge.
For example, one of my favourite fruit-infused water recipes is Berry Flavoured Water. Typically when you buy berry flavoured water, you’ll find added sugar, artificial colourings and some other weird bits in there. But when you make your own, you can use fresh or frozen berries to magically transform clear water into a berry tasting water.
And the best bit is, it takes literally less than 1 minute to make, completely transforms the taste AND you can store multiple versions in a mason jar for up to three days in the fridge. Talk about a bonus!
